Please note the statement of the mission and vision printed in the agenda.

It is now time for the Board of Presidents' comments.

President of the Board, Mrs. Oakerson, your comments, ma'am.

03:48.180 --> 03:48.640
Thank you, sir.

03:48.640 --> 03:53.160
Good evening, everyone, and welcome to the October Howell Township Board of Education meeting.

03:53.540 --> 03:54.780
Thank you all for joining us tonight.

03:54.900 --> 03:58.060
We are grateful to our students for the beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.

03:58.820 --> 04:02.680
October brings attention to many important causes, starting with breast cancer awareness.

04:02.880 --> 04:06.440
As you can see, so many of us up here are wearing pink, except for the superintendent.

04:07.360 --> 04:14.260
Mr. Isola will also share details about observances during school, including School Safety Week,

04:14.260 --> 04:18.660
the Week of Respect, School Violence Awareness Week, and Red Women Week, in his comments.

04:19.260 --> 04:23.360
Additionally, October marks Down Syndrome Awareness Month and National Principals Month,

04:23.480 --> 04:26.160
celebrating the dedication of our school leaders.

04:26.760 --> 04:31.320
I want to formally thank all of our teachers, administrators, and support staff for their swift actions

04:31.320 --> 04:34.240
and support during the security concern we experienced last week.

04:34.660 --> 04:37.960
We are relieved to share that it was determined to be a non-credible threat,

04:38.060 --> 04:42.160
but are super appreciative for your dedication and quick response in keeping our students safe.

04:42.900 --> 04:46.640
Tonight's recognition looks a little different as we are once again celebrating adults.

04:47.160 --> 04:50.200
We are honoring teachers and administrators from Ardina and Middle School North

04:50.200 --> 04:53.540
for their outstanding work in advancing the district's sustainable initiatives.

04:54.360 --> 04:57.500
Finally, as you leave tonight, please take a minute to admire the wonderful artwork

04:57.500 --> 04:59.540
from our gribbling students being displayed in the foyer.

05:00.060 --> 05:02.460
Thank you all for being here tonight, and have a great evening.

05:05.220 --> 05:08.180
It is now time for staff recognitions.

05:08.760 --> 05:10.740
And Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Izola.

05:12.160 --> 05:30.100
So, this year, two schools helped secure $12,000 in grants, and it's important to note that

05:30.100 --> 05:35.240
these opportunities are really made possible through our school's Sustainable Jersey for

05:35.240 --> 05:41.200
Schools certification, as only certified schools are allowed to apply for these grants, and

05:41.200 --> 05:49.560
And the two grants that were received are PSE&G grants, so thank you to the great partners

05:49.560 --> 05:52.220
with Sustainable and PSE&G.

05:52.220 --> 06:02.220
So first up is our dean of school, Mrs. Deradita, Mrs. Hayak, and Mr. Gretter, and Mrs. Kemna,

06:02.220 --> 06:06.340
come on up to get recognized.

06:06.340 --> 06:13.380
If Mr. Storr and Ms. Lazer could join.

06:14.380 --> 06:22.620
Our two teachers, Mrs. Deradita and Mrs. Hayak, secured a $2,000 grant called RAMS Moves.

06:22.620 --> 06:27.980
It's a wellness pathway for learning and focus, and this project will create an interactive

06:27.980 --> 06:33.380
sensory wellness pathway featuring colorful visuals and guided movement activities such

06:33.380 --> 06:38.000
as hopping, balancing, and stretching. The pathway will provide students with

06:38.000 --> 06:42.140
opportunities for movement breaks, sensory engagement, and self-regulation

06:42.140 --> 06:46.460
throughout the day, helping them refocus and return to the classroom ready to

06:46.460 --> 06:50.560
learn. Congratulations, Ardina.

07:03.380 --> 07:21.660
Congratulations again.

07:23.800 --> 07:29.280
Next up is North, Mrs. Schneider, Mrs. Castellan.

07:29.280 --> 07:34.020
And here this evening is also Mrs. Johnson.

07:34.680 --> 07:38.320
And I think we have individuals from the public

07:38.320 --> 07:40.880
that are here supporting this program.

07:41.260 --> 07:44.000
Mrs. Dowd from the Howell Green Team

07:44.000 --> 07:45.160
and Environmental Commission.

07:45.680 --> 07:48.940
And also Betty Lou Vallez-Gimbel,

07:49.120 --> 07:53.000
and she's of the Howell Farmers Advisory Committee.

07:53.000 --> 08:01.540
so um middle school north um received a ten thousand dollar grant uh it's called the growing

08:01.540 --> 08:09.500
connections cafe cultivating agricultural legacy from far farm to school this project will transform

08:09.500 --> 08:14.280
a portion of the school's media center into an interactive agricultural learning space

08:14.280 --> 08:19.980
featuring hydroponics gardening collaborative learning areas and a gallery celebrating house

08:19.980 --> 08:26.240
farming heritage. It's important to note that Mrs. Schneider and also Mrs. Castellan, who wrote this

08:26.240 --> 08:34.180
successful grant application, had previously secured a $10,000 grant with the continued support

08:34.180 --> 08:40.260
of their building administration, and they won this additional $10,000 grant. So congratulations.

08:40.260 --> 08:48.480
That brings in a lot of money to Middle School North. Really what makes this project especially

08:48.480 --> 08:53.040
meaningful is the partnership with our local farming community helping students connect

08:53.040 --> 09:01.200
with howell's agricultural roots while preserving and celebrating its history and um here reflecting

09:01.200 --> 09:06.160
that partnership is the individuals that i mentioned which definitely shows a meaningful

09:06.160 --> 09:10.320
partnership with the community so thank you for coming congratulations north

09:48.480 --> 10:00.760
Thank you for your work.

10:09.220 --> 10:10.580
That concludes staff

10:10.580 --> 10:12.720
recognitions, I believe. As the superintendent

10:12.720 --> 10:14.460
makes his way back, it is time for the

10:14.460 --> 10:15.580
superintendent's report.

10:18.480 --> 10:35.320
Mr. Izzola, as you take your seat, it's time for the superintendent's report.

10:40.200 --> 10:45.680
Thank you, Mr. Sanisak, and welcome to our October meeting.

10:45.680 --> 10:52.840
Mr. Sanisak, just for clarity, when will we do the required report for this evening?

10:54.520 --> 10:55.500
During your report.

10:56.060 --> 10:57.360
The Ms. Walshiver?

10:57.680 --> 10:57.960
Yes.

10:58.180 --> 10:59.520
Yes, during your report, sir.

10:59.840 --> 11:01.480
So I can kick that off now?

11:01.580 --> 11:01.840
Yes.

11:02.060 --> 11:02.380
Got it.

11:02.400 --> 11:03.360
I didn't know if you needed a separate.

11:03.880 --> 11:08.980
Okay, so as you know, semi-annually, we have to report on a hearing for the violence and

11:08.980 --> 11:14.780
vandalism, harassment, intimidation, and bullying, and to help us meet those requirements

11:14.780 --> 11:21.820
tonight uh we will have miss walsifer do her presentation which she does each October

11:21.820 --> 11:23.500
miss walsifer thank you and welcome

11:30.460 --> 11:35.900
good evening president members of the board mr isola and community members since the implementation

11:35.900 --> 11:40.220
of the anti-bullying bill of rights act our district and schools have continued to strengthen

11:40.220 --> 11:44.700
efforts to address harassment intimidation and bullying promote student safety and foster

11:44.700 --> 11:49.660
a positive school culture and climate throughout throughout October our schools participate in

11:49.660 --> 11:56.140

12:02.540 --> 12:08.700

12:08.700 --> 12:13.260
of activities focused on bullying prevention bias awareness drug

12:13.260 --> 12:17.160

12:17.160 --> 12:21.060
spirit weeks and school-wide awareness initiative designed to engage students

12:21.060 --> 12:25.080
and reinforce the importance of creating safe respectful inclusive learning

12:25.080 --> 12:29.100
environments our district continues to maintain strong partnerships with our

12:29.100 --> 12:33.660
school resource officers and class 3 special law enforcement officers who play

12:33.660 --> 12:36.900
an important role in supporting school safety and prevention efforts throughout

12:36.900 --> 12:41.880
the year. In accordance with state requirements, the district also collaborates with law enforcement

12:41.880 --> 12:47.820
personnel to support activities addressing school violence prevention. In addition, the district is

12:47.820 --> 12:52.820
required to report incidents of violence and vandalism publicly twice each year. The current

12:52.820 --> 12:58.340
reporting period reflects incidents reported between January 1st of 2026 through June 30th

12:58.340 --> 13:04.640
of 2026. There were 30 cases reported in the area of violence, six cases of vandalism, four cases

13:04.640 --> 13:10.080
in which weapons were involved nine cases of substance abuse and 19 confirmed cases of

13:10.080 --> 13:15.260
harassment intimidation and bullying there were 38 hib trainings provided and 80 hib programs

13:15.260 --> 13:20.280
provided throughout the district the anti-bullying bill of rights act also requires each school to

13:20.280 --> 13:24.660
complete an annual self-assessment evaluating its implementation of the act's requirements

13:24.660 --> 13:30.220
the assessment addresses eight core elements related to hib prevention reporting investigation

13:30.220 --> 13:33.940
response in school climate the results are presented to the Board of Education

13:33.940 --> 13:37.540
at a public meeting providing the board and community with an opportunity to

13:37.540 --> 13:40.780
review the district's progress and continued efforts to meet these

13:40.780 --> 13:45.400
requirements the maximum possible score for an individual school is 78 points

13:45.400 --> 13:49.060
for the current reporting period the district achieved an overall average

13:49.060 --> 13:54.320
score of 76 out of 78 points all schools received a score of 76 with the

13:54.320 --> 13:58.540
exception of Middle School North which received a score of 75 these results

13:58.540 --> 14:00.480
reflect the district's continued commitment

14:00.480 --> 14:03.520
to implementing the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act

14:03.520 --> 14:04.980
and maintaining safe, supportive,

14:04.980 --> 14:08.220
and respectful school environments for all students.

14:08.220 --> 14:10.580
In closing, these initiatives and assessment results

14:10.580 --> 14:13.020
reflect our district's ongoing commitment

14:13.020 --> 14:15.820
to prevention, accountability, and continuous improvement.

14:15.820 --> 14:17.800
Thank you for your continued support and commitment

14:17.800 --> 14:21.100
to the safety and well-being of our students in our district.

14:23.100 --> 14:24.460
Thank you, Ms. Walsifer.

14:24.460 --> 14:27.100
Thank you, and this is a need for a public hearing,

14:27.100 --> 14:33.180
And at the beginning of the first public comment, if there are other discussions, we will entertain questions specifically on that report.

14:34.200 --> 14:35.420
Thank you, Mr. Sanisak.

14:35.420 --> 14:44.020
I'll continue with my report for this month's meeting in keeping the reporting requirements.

14:45.000 --> 14:48.000
Each month I'm required to report suspensions.

14:48.160 --> 14:51.540
We've had 16 school suspensions, 15 out and one in.

14:52.480 --> 14:59.440
I want to take a moment to just briefly, unable to get in too much detail or the weeds,

14:59.940 --> 15:06.540
but certainly want to recognize, as our board president did, the swatting incident that took place on October 7th,

15:08.260 --> 15:17.360
specifically at Ramtown School, and just really two broad things that I'll take a moment to talk about.

15:17.360 --> 15:38.960
And first and foremost, Ramtown School was specifically, for no known reason, targeted by an individual looking to conduct a swatting incident.

15:38.960 --> 15:49.160
For those that don't know exactly what SWATing refers to, it's the act of basically calling a false alarm in a sense,

15:49.340 --> 15:55.980
but creating an environment of fear that would require SWAT teams to respond.

15:57.640 --> 16:02.420
And in fact, that was the case that took place.

16:02.480 --> 16:07.960
It's still a police investigation, so I'm unable to get into any specific details, obviously.

16:07.960 --> 16:12.480
But certainly, we were a victim of a swatting.

16:13.260 --> 16:27.680
I want to say that our partners in the Howell Township Police Department, as expected, as we've come to know and appreciate their partnership, rose to the occasion.

16:27.680 --> 16:43.320
And within moments, literally, actually in real time, there were two officers at Ram Town School because of our strong partnership when the incident initiated.

16:44.220 --> 16:56.920
And within moments after that, there were members of the Howell Township Police Department on property and in the building ensuring that our students were safe.

16:57.680 --> 17:06.940
So I want to thank Chief Starro and the amazing men and women that serve our community for the police department.

17:06.940 --> 17:17.740
I couldn't feel better about our partnership and their commitment to ensuring that our students and staff are safe while at school.

17:18.620 --> 17:23.480
Also, I want to take a moment to thank our building leadership and our staff members

17:23.480 --> 17:29.040
throughout all of our buildings, but specifically down on the south campus there, where there

17:29.040 --> 17:33.200
was heightened levels of angst and certainly concern.

17:34.280 --> 17:43.820
Mr. Barra absolutely led that building like you would anticipate a caring and dedicated

17:43.820 --> 17:52.480
educator of his time in district here to do. And it was really a source of pride. I can tell you

17:52.480 --> 17:59.520
that the adrenaline that he was feeling and we were feeling was genuine and real and alarming.

18:00.340 --> 18:11.000
And he absolutely acted with his students and staff's best interest in every decision, question,

18:11.000 --> 18:19.040
thought process that he had and I take a moment to talk about this is because we drill these

18:19.040 --> 18:27.300
things in this world that we live and it's unfortunate but it is a reality in our society

18:27.300 --> 18:35.280
today and the drilling and the dedication and the commitment that our district has shown to

18:35.280 --> 18:44.520
school security and safety shined bright on that day. So I also want to just take a moment to say

18:44.520 --> 18:55.480
thank you to the community, families that entrust their children to us every day, their cooperation

18:55.480 --> 19:05.020
and understanding and patience during an emergency like this was also a source of pride for all of us.

19:05.280 --> 19:15.680
there is something that I think is important that we talk about briefly here tonight and maybe

19:15.680 --> 19:24.940
we want to enact a community interaction venue for us in the coming weeks just to go over a lot

19:24.940 --> 19:29.100
of things and certainly there's a lot going on district but this could be a topic and maybe see

19:29.100 --> 19:41.000
if our police partners can join us um the incident started at approximately 2 22 2 23 in the afternoon

19:41.000 --> 19:53.800
let's call it 25 minutes past um the police were in full swing rather quickly by as i said two

19:53.800 --> 20:01.540
officers were there for the initial launch of the incident and within moments there were many other

20:01.540 --> 20:15.140
police on property. We assembled a command, an incident command. We had Mr. Borra, we had Captain

20:15.140 --> 20:22.060
Mazzeo and we had Mr. Sanisak on property. Myself along with Dr. Preston, Ms. Walsh-Furr and

20:22.060 --> 20:31.360
And Mrs. Engel and members of our team at the office quickly started to unravel and send directions to our schools.

20:32.100 --> 20:34.560
Again, I don't want to get too much into the details here.

20:34.560 --> 20:41.620
But what I want to say is by 3.08, I believe we had our first communication out to the community.

20:42.060 --> 20:44.520
And I want to be really frank and honest about this.

20:45.980 --> 20:51.820
You know, this isn't like, you know, trying to ban water bottles or changing a bus stop.

20:52.060 --> 20:59.800
or dealing with reconfiguration or dealing with a bus that runs late 20 minutes on opening day

20:59.800 --> 21:06.160
where I get you know countless emails about that stuff. This is about ensuring that our

21:06.160 --> 21:13.340
children go home at night and our staff goes home at night and the thing that our team needed to do

21:13.340 --> 21:20.040
was understand the situation and ensure that our students and staff were safe and make sure we get

21:20.040 --> 21:29.520
clean, accurate information to the community. While this was unfolding, I want to be clear,

21:29.640 --> 21:35.400
no one should be confused that I was drafting an email while I was giving direction to our

21:35.400 --> 21:39.760
building principal and support and getting resources and communicating with the police

21:39.760 --> 21:47.500
and actually speaking through the phone with the individual who's making these threats.

21:47.500 --> 21:55.820
no I was not drafting an email but the team assembled started to do that and if we think

21:55.820 --> 22:02.960
45 minutes or so is a late communication you all and I don't think anyone up there does but you

22:02.960 --> 22:09.680
all can encourage the board of education to put that in my evaluation because I will never deviate

22:09.680 --> 22:16.180
from ensuring our students and staff are safe and by the way police partners don't want

22:16.180 --> 22:21.220
misinformation going out so I we have to wait for good communication clear

22:21.220 --> 22:28.360
communication and synchronized communication between the police and the

22:28.360 --> 22:33.220
school in this case the schools because if we send wrong information and there's

22:33.220 --> 22:38.140
actual threat going on that could impact the securing of the building or the

22:38.140 --> 22:43.800
safety of police officers and or of course government students and staff so

22:43.800 --> 22:49.560
this was the real deal and that's how it's going to unfold in real time and I

22:49.560 --> 22:53.460
want to thank the board for their great understanding and support on that day I

22:53.460 --> 22:58.620
did try my best to keep the board informed as well but at the end of the

22:58.620 --> 23:07.080
day if we're gonna you know make flyers and talk about timing of communication

23:07.080 --> 23:12.840
I think the word that was missed was thank you to the Ramtown staff and to

23:12.840 --> 23:17.560
the police department and to the administrative team in Howell Township that made sure their

23:17.560 --> 23:25.020
kids were secured and in safe environments. And as I traveled the buildings the next two or three

23:25.020 --> 23:31.500
days, in speaking with our staff, and I want the community to know this, and for all the members

23:31.500 --> 23:39.020
in this packed house here tonight, and those that are watching at home, I want people to know some

23:39.020 --> 23:44.480
of the things I heard as I spoke to our staff because it's easy to say they did a great job

23:44.480 --> 23:49.600
and it's important to say that and I appreciate everyone who has said that but when I speak to a

23:49.600 --> 23:54.700
teacher and I got emotional the other day in our in our debrief at the leadership meeting when I

23:54.700 --> 24:04.200
speak to a young lady who was on her prep period panicked in lockdown in her room not because of

24:04.200 --> 24:10.000
her well-being but she needed to know that her kids were okay because her kids were in special

24:10.000 --> 24:15.660
at physical education on the other side of the building and she contemplating breaking protocol

24:15.660 --> 24:28.080
to go see if they were okay. It is just mind-boggling to understand the care that our

24:28.080 --> 24:33.040
professionals and our support staff have for the kids that we're entrusted. When I heard her

24:33.040 --> 24:40.220
describe that to me in her conflict that she was having it just resonated like wow I would want my

24:40.220 --> 24:46.400
kid in this person's classroom because I know she's willing to do what it takes to keep the

24:46.400 --> 24:53.780
children that she's entrusted safe and it and that was person after person like you know Joe we had

24:53.780 --> 24:58.160
this you know we made sure the kids were okay we took never one of them spoke about themselves

24:58.160 --> 25:10.460
And it was such a source of pride for me as a superintendent, and I know the board shares in that pride, that we employ folks that get it and they understand it.

25:10.920 --> 25:19.140
And when we want to talk about educators and this and that, well, let's start telling these types of stories because they matter most.

25:19.940 --> 25:24.700
And we want to talk about a lot of things, and we will tonight and over the next few months.

25:24.700 --> 25:38.440
But I just want everyone to make sure they have a clear understanding that Howell Township is filled with individuals that will continue to take care of kids in every way possible on every day under any circumstances.

25:38.440 --> 25:58.880
So that's my debrief on the events of October 7th that took place with the swatting, and I want to commend all of our staff from every Department of Transportation folks, our custodial staff, our B&G, everybody participated, Director of Security, you name it.

25:58.880 --> 26:01.440
it was all hands on deck

26:01.440 --> 26:04.000
and whatever it took to make sure we were safe

26:04.000 --> 26:05.860
so you know

26:05.860 --> 26:07.980
kudos and thank you to all those

26:07.980 --> 26:09.580
folks that

26:09.580 --> 26:11.300
did the right thing

26:11.300 --> 26:13.920
Mr. Sanzak was there

26:13.920 --> 26:14.580
something I missed?

26:15.520 --> 26:17.300
No that was very clear

26:17.300 --> 26:19.100
thank you sir

26:19.100 --> 26:21.960
once we knew

26:21.960 --> 26:23.280
everything was

26:23.280 --> 26:27.420
a swatting let's say it was

26:27.420 --> 26:33.780
it was handled wonderfully and we'll learn from it going forward great so as we move into the

26:33.780 --> 26:40.760
month of October well into it now we take the we take the opportunity to uh recognize breast

26:40.760 --> 26:46.540
cancer awareness month and through our efforts in this area we've had individuals actually say

26:46.540 --> 26:50.480
you know the wearing pink and the paint the town pink thing that we did a few years ago and

26:50.480 --> 26:59.540
the different awareness events that we conduct have driven members of our staff to go get tested

26:59.540 --> 27:07.600
and I can remember one specific SCAF member saying Joe this pink out that we did saved my life

27:07.600 --> 27:12.260
it reminded me to go for my examination and they found early stage breast cancer

27:12.260 --> 27:19.460
so we encourage you know all individuals specifically women to to to make sure they're

27:20.120 --> 27:25.540
taking care of themselves and putting their health first and while the board president has

27:25.540 --> 27:32.620
shared that she doesn't think my pink tie is pink enough I do want to share that I do have also a

27:32.620 --> 27:37.520
ribbon on my lapel which I provided one for everyone here and we're going to continue to

27:37.520 --> 27:44.400
do these little things that mean so much to to so many um we talked about uh during the update uh

27:44.400 --> 27:50.080
the great work of in this case uh principal borough but dr hennick and ms palazzolo down on

27:50.080 --> 27:54.960
that campus were also stellar and our building principals throughout our 12 schools really

27:55.520 --> 28:01.680
did a great job on that particular day but this is national principals month they get a whole month

28:02.480 --> 28:07.040
which is pretty impressive i'm still looking for superintendent's day i don't think it exists but

28:07.520 --> 28:12.220
We want to recognize and thank our great principals throughout our school district during the month of October.

28:12.780 --> 28:17.080
So for our community members, drop them a note, send them a message of thanks and gratitude.

28:17.600 --> 28:18.760
It will go a long way.

28:19.200 --> 28:24.300
And April, April, listen to me, October is also Down Syndrome Awareness Month,

28:24.340 --> 28:31.540
and we always want to make sure that we're bringing awareness of our youngsters who have Down Syndrome

28:31.540 --> 28:35.680
and the great programs that we provide for them on a regular basis.

28:35.680 --> 28:44.480
So really important awareness and attention and attentionality in our work around these things.

28:46.260 --> 28:56.580
Ms. Walsford kind of reported on the many weeks of the week of respect and violence, anti-violence, as well as Red Ribbon and her reporting on my behalf.

28:56.660 --> 28:58.860
So thank you, Ms. Walsford, for that.

28:59.000 --> 29:03.520
Next week, we'll have National School Bus Safety Week, busy month, October.

29:03.520 --> 29:07.700
So we want to make sure we are out there supporting our transportation department,

29:07.800 --> 29:13.800
our bus drivers who get our kids to and from school on a regular basis in a very safe manner.

29:13.920 --> 29:16.980
So we're always appreciative of our transportation folks.

29:18.100 --> 29:21.540
Next week will be the New Jersey School Boards Association.

29:21.700 --> 29:23.840
And board members, get your pens out, write this down.

29:24.900 --> 29:28.660
Mr. Sanisak, our very own business administrator, assistant suit for business,

29:28.660 --> 29:35.700
has, as you all know, been named as the statewide business administrator of the year for the entire

29:35.700 --> 29:43.000
state. We've congratulated him upon this announcement previously, but during our workshop

29:43.000 --> 29:50.060
down next week at the conference, I'm just trying to pull the date up here, Mr. Sanisak will be

29:50.060 --> 29:59.320
recognized um there'll be a ceremony uh located in the achievement arena which is on the convention

29:59.320 --> 30:08.140
in at the convention center that will do a host the event and that is at 10 45 on October 20th

30:08.140 --> 30:15.140
be there or be square let's support our very own um later in the school year um the monmouth

30:15.140 --> 30:21.780
County School Boards in its spring celebration meeting on May 4th. We'll also be recognizing

30:21.780 --> 30:26.660
our business administrator for this incredible accomplishment. That meeting will be at 6

30:26.660 --> 30:31.280
p.m. and it'll be held at Shore Regional High School. And I believe, I don't have the date

30:31.280 --> 30:36.340
yet, but Mr. Santisac will also be recognized by the State Board of Education for this very

30:36.340 --> 30:44.060
well-deserved accomplishment. And while we're proud of Ron, we know that it is also his

30:44.060 --> 30:48.140
entire team and the business office and all the support folks that that do the

30:48.140 --> 30:52.360
good work on behalf of our district but it is well Ron has you know been

30:52.360 --> 30:56.200
recognized it is really an accomplishment of our district and I

30:56.200 --> 31:00.820
know he feels strongly about that it is all of our accomplishments so Ron

31:00.820 --> 31:05.580
congratulations and thank you for representing our district with such you

31:05.580 --> 31:12.340
know dignity and hard work around the important work that you do I'd like to

31:12.340 --> 31:18.960
inform the board that on Tuesday, October 27th, we'll have an international delegation of educators

31:18.960 --> 31:26.640
from New Taipei City once again visiting us. They come here because we are a model program,

31:26.640 --> 31:32.020
state-recognized model program in ESL, English as a Second Language, and this is what they're

31:32.020 --> 31:39.400
studying, but their focus is to teach English in their home country. So we'll be exchanging ideas,

31:39.400 --> 31:45.260
doing some professional development together and celebrating our visitors throughout that day.

31:45.360 --> 31:47.820
And that will take place at our Dina School.

31:48.860 --> 31:54.940
The foundation, the Education Foundation, had a successful event recently at the Pocketbook Bingo,

31:55.120 --> 31:58.180
a designer bag bingo, whatever the specific name was.

31:58.480 --> 32:02.560
I also want to bring your attention to December 6th.

32:02.560 --> 32:06.380
They'll be hosting their annual Breakfast with Santa at Applebee's.

32:06.380 --> 32:13.540
it's a it's a fantastic uh day uh building uh folks are out as well as senior admin helping

32:13.540 --> 32:21.200
and serving and and um i think uh dr preston and i washed more dishes last year than uh i think i

32:21.200 --> 32:26.460
did the entire rest of the year in the kitchen so uh but we'll be there working and uh supporting

32:26.460 --> 32:31.220
the foundation bring your young ones out there the schools will be uh sending out information

32:31.220 --> 32:37.780
on that as well um and then later at the end of the month there Friday on Friday the 30th our

32:37.780 --> 32:44.500
schools will be uh having Halloween parades it's a long-standing tradition the kids love it they

32:44.500 --> 32:50.540
they come in costume or they bring their costumes and the parades are designated times and they do

32:50.540 --> 32:57.080
a quick uh parade outside and back in the building so um you know it should be a fun day and i know

32:57.080 --> 33:01.080
that the senior administration always enjoys visiting the schools and seeing our youngsters

33:01.080 --> 33:07.020
out there. And as Mrs. Oakerson said earlier, you know, the artwork that you see displayed

33:07.020 --> 33:13.180
outside is from the Gribbling Bulldogs. We're very proud of the youngsters there that produced

33:13.180 --> 33:18.620
that artwork. Take a moment to take it in throughout the evening. And believe it or

33:18.620 --> 33:20.480
not, that concludes my report.

33:22.940 --> 33:26.280
Thank you. It is now time for the committee updates and layers and reports.

33:26.280 --> 33:27.840
President of the Board, Ms. Ockerson.

33:28.800 --> 33:29.440
Ms. Deliolmany.

33:31.440 --> 33:32.480
Nothing to report.

33:32.820 --> 33:33.360
Ms. Mankana.

33:33.640 --> 33:34.400
Nothing to report.

33:34.820 --> 33:35.400
Ms. Langenberger.

33:38.280 --> 33:41.660
Policy Committee did meet on September 30th.

33:42.400 --> 33:48.920
We abolished several policies that we had replacements for,

33:49.500 --> 33:52.160
so that's why you see some things that are abolished.

33:52.160 --> 33:57.700
Our nepotism policy is now better aligned with state code and law.

33:57.700 --> 34:02.200
We had some questions answered by our legal team.

34:02.200 --> 34:12.880
We had a robust discussion on the library material policy and how we are not allowed

34:12.880 --> 34:18.120
to censor anything available in our libraries with the only exception being age appropriate

34:18.120 --> 34:21.520
restrictions.

34:21.520 --> 34:30.800
we had discussions even on what that is um we abolished our sexual harassment policies for both

34:30.800 --> 34:38.880
students and staff um and then it's not in the minutes here but as uh other items that May arise

34:38.880 --> 34:47.680
we talked about um a possible flag policy and that was the meeting and that concludes

34:47.680 --> 34:58.120
your report my report thank you miss laser nothing to report dr. Lowe yes so

34:58.120 --> 35:02.080
I'm gonna first start with some pocketbook bingo it was wonderful miss

35:02.080 --> 35:07.300
mangano and I went with mrs. Wallingford miss Engel and actually mr. Isola's

35:07.300 --> 35:12.280
sister his wife his daughter-in-law and other family members we had a great

35:12.280 --> 35:16.780
table and they raised tons of money I've never been to pocketbook bingo but wow

35:16.780 --> 35:26.320
it was packed so that was really fun really fun yes but it was fun and I'm

35:26.320 --> 35:31.120
sure it'd be great to they raised a lot of money for the foundation so that was

35:31.120 --> 35:35.440
really great that started off my my actually my that was my first event of

35:35.440 --> 35:41.920
the weekend the first time going so on October 3rd you know I'm on the legend

35:41.920 --> 35:45.520
New Jersey legislative committee and so we had a really very robust meeting mr.

35:45.520 --> 35:50.340
Sanisek usually listens, but I can't remember the deputy commissioner's name,

35:50.460 --> 35:51.720
but she's a school board member.

35:52.120 --> 35:55.580
So as you know, one of the governor's initiatives is school funding reform,

35:55.820 --> 36:00.280
and this is your opportunity for those of you who want to give input to give it.

36:00.800 --> 36:04.100
And so she actually started with school boards first at our meeting

36:04.100 --> 36:06.360
because she's also a school board member as well.

36:06.820 --> 36:08.480
Jordan Schiff is part of that team.

36:08.560 --> 36:09.540
He didn't really say much.

36:10.060 --> 36:15.500
But overall, they had opportunities for board members to talk about some of the concerns.

36:15.900 --> 36:17.820
But there's actually a lot of information on the website.

36:18.040 --> 36:18.720
There's a form.

36:19.520 --> 36:23.100
They're holding individual face-to-face meetings and legislative meetings.

36:23.180 --> 36:26.660
So those of you, you want to complain, this is the opportunity.

36:26.660 --> 36:32.320
And I know Dr. Richens had said that this is the time for your input.

36:32.560 --> 36:35.620
And so they're taking all that input, and they bring it to the legislators.

36:35.840 --> 36:38.020
But it's all on the state website, the dates.

36:38.020 --> 36:44.120
But we were grateful to be able to have that presentation first, you know, because she is a school board member and also deputy commissioner.

36:45.820 --> 36:51.960
Well, just a little side, I told Mr. Sanasek, I really wanted to say something, but everybody's complaining about not having funding.

36:52.060 --> 37:00.820
And I'm like, well, I'm not going to brag about how, but we've been able to survive S2 cuts because we've been fiscally conservative and we have a good business and administrative team.

37:00.860 --> 37:01.780
And we're not wasting money.

37:02.100 --> 37:05.240
We're stewards of the taxpayers' dollars, and we do a very good job at that.

37:05.240 --> 37:08.360
But nonetheless, I said, let me just keep my mouth shut.

37:08.580 --> 37:10.340
But it was an opportunity for input.

37:10.460 --> 37:11.680
But I did fill out the form.

37:11.900 --> 37:13.280
It is on the state website.

37:13.500 --> 37:17.580
But this is your opportunity to give your feelings about school funding reform.

37:17.900 --> 37:21.620
If I May, I'll send the link to that form out tomorrow.

37:21.900 --> 37:22.420
Okay, perfect.

37:22.420 --> 37:24.720
Just so everybody has it at their fingertips and don't have to find it.

37:24.720 --> 37:27.420
And also, I did send it to you.

37:27.440 --> 37:28.040
I think I did.

37:28.120 --> 37:33.660
But the minutes, because a lot of good legislation that's being, nothing's been signed or done yet,

37:33.660 --> 37:39.800
Lots of good legislation already, you know, coming from school boards to the legislators.

37:40.800 --> 37:44.620
So education, I'm not going to read all of it,

37:44.700 --> 37:50.620
but I am going to take a moment to read about some of the things that we've been talking about, Mr. Sanasek and I.

37:52.120 --> 37:57.660
So from prior meetings, administration updated the committee regarding AMIRA data privacy questions

37:57.660 --> 38:02.540
and procedural changes to our AMIRA data retention protocols.

38:02.540 --> 38:07.160
recordings of students voices are used by teachers to inform what a mirror has

38:07.160 --> 38:11.480
assessed regarding student readiness fluency the recordings ensure that the

38:11.480 --> 38:14.760
relationship between teacher and student is still part of the teaching and

38:14.760 --> 38:18.920
learning process a mirror stores the recording separate from the identifiable

38:18.920 --> 38:23.900
student information within the mirror platform only there is an encryption key

38:23.900 --> 38:28.520
so that the separated information and recordings can be linked for the for the

38:28.520 --> 38:35.520
teacher to use. Identifiable information and recordings are connected unless we as the

38:35.520 --> 38:39.740
product user ask for that information when we need it or when we want to delete it. In

38:39.740 --> 38:45.520
addition to encryption and separate data points, the district has opted to automatically delete

38:45.520 --> 38:50.560
all Almira student recordings the first weekend after each month. This gives teachers time

38:50.560 --> 38:55.540
to listen to the recordings and make adjustments within the AMIRA platform, while resolving

38:55.540 --> 39:00.420
potential issues associated with continually accumulating data.

39:00.420 --> 39:05.360
The committee also discussed the differences between the computer-assisted version of AI

39:05.360 --> 39:12.100
that Amira is versus generative AI, which is mostly associated with platforms like ChatGPT

39:12.100 --> 39:13.100
or Claude.

39:13.100 --> 39:17.160
Amira is a self-contained system based on inputs and responses.

39:17.160 --> 39:22.640
It does not search the broader internet, nor is it learning from itself to generate unprogrammed

39:22.640 --> 39:24.480
interventions for students.

39:24.480 --> 39:26.860
Amira is not a controversial chat platform.

39:27.400 --> 39:31.320
If the child is not reading to it based on the on-screen text,

39:31.420 --> 39:34.560
but rather trying to talk with Amira, it does not engage.

39:35.060 --> 39:37.420
There is more like a computer-assisted tutor

39:37.420 --> 39:40.100
than a self-generating large language model.

39:40.620 --> 39:44.180
Lastly, Amira starts fresh with students at the beginning of each year.

39:44.180 --> 39:47.000
It will not remember the student from last year.

39:47.200 --> 39:50.640
The committee felt the information and district decision

39:50.640 --> 39:54.100
to delete recordings monthly were helpful and purposeful.

39:54.480 --> 40:00.740
for and pedagogically sound so I did want to read that point because I know that's been you know

40:00.740 --> 40:05.300
important for you know all parents to know also one of the things we've talked about anything that

40:05.300 --> 40:11.740
we purchase Dr. Mrs. Engel and her team they look at that contract and they handle all the student

40:11.740 --> 40:18.200
data privacy issues before we even entertain looking at any type of product or program using

40:18.200 --> 40:23.780
technology so Mr. Izola talked about last year the start of the school year we talked about that

40:23.780 --> 40:24.980
It was very, very good.

40:25.640 --> 40:37.920
The one thing I will mention in here, because that's important, anecdotally, this year's kindergarten students are showing continued strengthening of learning endurance, positive behaviors, and pro-social attributes because of the pre-K program.

40:38.020 --> 40:39.040
So that was really important.

40:39.400 --> 40:40.200
Nice transition.

40:40.900 --> 40:46.560
And professional learning, I hope you all had a chance to see Mr. Preston's infographic and his video.

40:46.560 --> 40:49.960
It talks about all the things that we're doing in professional learning.

40:49.960 --> 40:57.460
But just to highlight, 4,010 hours of professional learning in our strategic plan goal has been delivered so far.

40:57.700 --> 41:00.640
And that's one of those things that we find to our strategic plan.

41:01.820 --> 41:05.660
And then, you know, everyone knows the NJSLE results are not in yet.

41:06.220 --> 41:11.580
And I think we are moving the meeting date to accommodate that sometime in December.

41:12.580 --> 41:14.200
We also did CUSAC.

41:14.340 --> 41:15.400
This is our year again.

41:15.400 --> 41:19.360
And we went through the committee, actually, as in the past, as the review committee.

41:19.360 --> 41:23.200
so we looked at everything we looked at all the indicators and they'll be out

41:23.200 --> 41:32.740
sometime in February I believe dr. Preston February sorry correct okay all

41:32.740 --> 41:36.940
right and then lastly you'll see the vice principal supervisor job description

41:36.940 --> 41:42.220
only made one small change to it and pretty much that's on the agenda and

41:42.220 --> 41:43.780
And that is my update.

41:44.260 --> 41:46.380
Oh, I did go to the county meeting.

41:47.200 --> 41:49.540
That was October 6th.

41:49.540 --> 41:50.380
Yep, I was going to mention that.

41:50.440 --> 41:52.120
Yeah, and you still can.

41:52.200 --> 41:56.400
But it was a good meeting, and we did the pledge that we did last month on civility.

41:58.120 --> 42:01.400
Ray Penny did a presentation on it, and we talked about it.

42:01.400 --> 42:05.860
And so perhaps last month one of the things we didn't do is we read the oath.

42:06.180 --> 42:08.060
So it's like we've already approved the resolution.

42:08.600 --> 42:13.180
Many school boards are doing it, but the reading of the oath is more ceremonial

42:13.180 --> 42:17.160
that not only do we believe in it, we pledged it, we're going to live it.

42:17.480 --> 42:18.980
So I think about that.

42:18.980 --> 42:19.920
Yeah, I don't have it in front of me.

42:19.920 --> 42:23.420
I know, I know, but as I said, he just kind of went over some of the things.

42:23.840 --> 42:24.740
And that was pretty much it.

42:24.760 --> 42:25.460
It was a good meeting.

42:25.640 --> 42:27.340
Anything that I didn't add?

42:27.520 --> 42:27.920
Mr. Thor?

42:27.920 --> 42:31.440
That was really the only thing I was going to report was myself, Dr. Lowe,

42:32.200 --> 42:37.720
and Dr. Sanisak, now that you're superintendent of the year.

42:38.060 --> 42:42.100
But we attended, it was October 6th, building a culture of civility.

42:42.900 --> 42:43.320
It was good.

42:43.380 --> 42:44.560
It was about a 30-minute presentation.

42:44.940 --> 42:53.560
And we also talked a lot about how what is out there in society, especially politically,

42:54.660 --> 43:01.540
can infiltrate how we all discuss things and why that is a bad idea.

43:02.880 --> 43:03.960
I think it's nice of you to say that.

43:04.460 --> 43:06.360
So really don't think I had to report.

43:06.660 --> 43:07.420
Dr. Levine?

43:08.060 --> 43:27.060
I will be reporting on labor in executive session.

43:27.060 --> 43:28.060
Mr. Sanisak.

43:28.060 --> 43:30.060
That concludes committee reports.

43:30.060 --> 43:32.060
It is now time for discussion item.

43:32.060 --> 43:37.060
We have one item listed this evening, 2627 board goal number one.

43:37.060 --> 43:38.860
One, Dr. Levine requested that.

43:47.860 --> 43:48.700
You turn me on?

43:48.980 --> 43:49.320
You're on.

43:49.640 --> 43:49.960
Okay.

43:51.640 --> 43:58.680
As the board is aware, I have difficulty speaking due to a minor stroke.

43:58.680 --> 44:05.040
The last board's meeting, we adopted after Mrs.

44:05.040 --> 44:11.680
Oakerson asked whether there was any comments with regard to the board's goals.

44:11.680 --> 44:18.620
And I just want to reiterate, or not can't re-edit, but iterate for the first time.

44:18.620 --> 44:31.120
The board needs to step up in terms of our expectations with regard to our,

44:31.120 --> 44:41.980
give me a moment, to expand academic striving and our expectations for every student.

44:41.980 --> 44:53.980
I would have said this all prior to our vote on adopting the board's goals last month.

44:53.980 --> 45:01.360
But I feel the need to state it at this month.

45:01.360 --> 45:12.660
we need to be doing a better job in terms of looking at the outcomes of what we are doing,

45:12.660 --> 45:17.660
the educational system is doing, for each and every student.

45:17.660 --> 45:30.440
a little bit more specifics what you're saying because I mean I mean quite honestly we have

45:30.440 --> 45:36.140
more data outcomes than we've ever had and that's been what the board has requested the quarterly

45:36.140 --> 45:43.160
reporting you know so I just want to know specifically when you say step up you know we

45:43.160 --> 45:46.620
We literally can break down and, you know, you all have it.

45:46.620 --> 45:47.700
That's all I'm just saying.

45:47.700 --> 45:50.940
I want to know specifically what you're talking about, in reference to stepping up.

45:55.020 --> 45:58.940
I believe that the state will be reporting this month.

46:00.280 --> 46:06.280
We will be receiving a report based upon the state testing.

46:06.280 --> 46:22.800
Historically, year after year, we have congratulated ourselves on getting 60% of our students to be performing at or above state standards.

46:22.800 --> 46:30.060
Well, that leaves 40% who are not performing at or above the standards.

46:30.680 --> 46:36.040
40% are performing lower than expectations.

46:36.280 --> 46:40.880
So you're referencing the NJSLA scores from 25?

46:44.940 --> 46:46.980
Yes. Let me leave it.

46:47.760 --> 46:52.800
Again, I'm having difficulty framing what I want to say.

46:52.800 --> 47:02.080
Right. And not to make you talk anymore, but I think the goal says support administration's efforts to expand academic striving and high expectations for every student.

47:02.080 --> 47:09.380
So I think, and Denise, correct me if I'm wrong, what Denise is asking is what are you looking for from us as board members that we're not doing?

47:09.380 --> 47:25.160
I would like to be able to respond to that next month when I have boarded ease, a better ease at being able to speak to frame what my thinking is.

47:26.120 --> 47:26.640
Okay.

47:26.800 --> 47:29.920
So you want to hold the rest of this discussion until next month?

47:30.120 --> 47:30.440
Yes.

47:30.760 --> 47:31.800
Mr. Sanisak?

47:32.080 --> 47:33.080
Does that conclude?

47:33.080 --> 47:34.080
Sorry.

47:34.080 --> 47:35.080
Go ahead, Dr. Love.

47:35.080 --> 47:36.080
I just had a question.

47:36.080 --> 47:37.080
So we already approved the goal?

47:37.080 --> 47:39.080
The goal was approved two months ago.

47:39.080 --> 47:40.080
Right.

47:40.080 --> 47:42.080
He's saying we're not doing a good job of doing the goal.

47:42.080 --> 47:43.080
Oh, okay.

47:43.080 --> 47:44.080
Okay.

47:44.080 --> 47:50.080
Not that we're not doing a good job, but that we could be doing a better job.

47:50.080 --> 47:51.080
Okay.

47:51.080 --> 47:52.080
Mr. Sanosak?

47:52.080 --> 47:53.080
Does that conclude?

47:53.080 --> 47:54.080
Seems it.

47:54.080 --> 47:58.080
It is now time for the first public comment.

47:58.080 --> 48:03.160
Please note the information printed in the agenda regarding our public comment process.

48:04.360 --> 48:10.880
Whereas the Howe Township Board of Education determines the comments from the public portion of the board meeting May last 45 minutes,

48:11.320 --> 48:17.380
and the comments will be conducted in accordance with By-law 164.1, and individuals May be limited to three minutes each.

48:17.700 --> 48:21.500
The officer, with respect to time and decorum, will be the president of the board, Ms. Oakerson.

48:21.500 --> 48:32.140
I remind the board and the public that the first portion of the public comment will be for the public hearing on the report given by Ms. Walsifer.

48:33.460 --> 48:35.640
Madam President, would your permission? May the floor be open.

48:37.060 --> 48:41.220
We have no one signed up on the iPad. Is there anyone in the public who would like to speak?

48:43.760 --> 48:47.640
Seeing none, there are no comments on either the public hearing or tonight's public comment.

48:47.780 --> 48:48.960
With that, May the floor be closed.

48:49.900 --> 48:51.300
Thank you. The floor is closed.

48:51.300 --> 48:55.860
it is now time the board is in need of an executive session uh the items this evening

48:55.860 --> 49:03.180

49:03.180 --> 49:09.500

49:20.160 --> 49:33.480

49:33.480 --> 49:37.980

49:37.980 --> 49:49.560
President. I'd like your tie, Ronald. Thank you. Thank you. Is it approved as pink?

49:49.560 --> 49:54.440
You're getting a lot of attention. It's going to my head.

49:54.440 --> 49:58.520
Yeah, you know how I love you.

50:01.880 --> 50:07.120
I second that.

50:09.560 --> 50:10.400
It's not there.

50:15.280 --> 50:16.260
It's pinkish.

50:16.260 --> 50:17.000
It's salmon.

50:20.240 --> 50:20.760
Salmon.

50:21.400 --> 50:22.280
We had a quorum before.

50:22.360 --> 50:23.340
Also a delicious fish.

50:23.380 --> 50:24.280
You made me stop anyway.

50:24.440 --> 50:27.200
I just said to wait for it.

50:27.200 --> 50:28.380
No problem.

50:28.380 --> 50:30.040
Mr. Arzola, she's chiming in, that's all.

50:30.040 --> 50:31.320
Dr. Lowe, hold on to me.

50:31.320 --> 50:32.220
Slow down.

50:33.220 --> 50:34.920
You know, you need to get a year and everything,

50:34.920 --> 50:35.860
you can get to the one place.

50:35.860 --> 50:36.860
Hey.

50:45.720 --> 50:47.360
That's right.

50:47.360 --> 50:54.140
Now, many hands make light work.

51:24.440 --> 51:26.400
That's just for you today, I think, John.

51:26.400 --> 51:28.720
Yeah, no, I wouldn't go if Eureka agreed to assign it

51:28.720 --> 51:32.340
to Jacobi, not Janice, but to the Jacobi panel.

51:32.340 --> 51:35.120
Oh, I know, and I didn't get on her.

51:35.120 --> 51:38.520
Oh, no, he like pitched it for at least a half an hour.

51:38.520 --> 51:41.320
He went, you held him down while they hurt me,

51:41.320 --> 51:43.200
and he didn't put the knees in here.

51:43.200 --> 51:45.160
I know, I was like, I don't want to get the knees in here.

51:45.160 --> 51:46.000
That's right.

51:46.000 --> 51:49.000
And then he was like, that's great.

51:49.000 --> 51:50.640
That's so great.

51:50.640 --> 51:51.640
That's a cute one.

51:51.640 --> 52:21.620
Okay, as Dr. Levine is approaching his seat

52:21.620 --> 52:23.340
Can we have a move in a second or on the minutes, please?

52:23.340 --> 52:23.660
Move it.

52:23.900 --> 52:24.060
Move it.

52:24.600 --> 52:25.580
Move it by Mr. Thor.

52:26.240 --> 52:26.640
Move it.

52:26.820 --> 52:28.140
Second by Ms. Deliomini.

52:29.180 --> 52:29.780
Second it.

52:29.920 --> 52:30.040
No.

52:30.220 --> 52:31.200
May I take that around, ma'am?

52:31.380 --> 52:31.600
Yep.

52:32.400 --> 52:33.140
Mr. Thor.

52:33.760 --> 52:34.140
Yes.

52:34.340 --> 52:35.280
Ms. Deliomini.

52:35.520 --> 52:35.860
Yes.

52:36.660 --> 52:37.400
Ms. Lazor.

52:37.580 --> 52:37.880
Yes.

52:38.240 --> 52:39.120
Dr. Levine.

52:39.300 --> 52:39.520
Yes.

52:39.920 --> 52:40.680
Dr. Lowe.

52:40.860 --> 52:41.200
Yes.

52:41.340 --> 52:42.000
Ms. Mangano.

52:42.260 --> 52:42.560
Yes.

52:43.880 --> 52:44.680
Ms. Langenberger.

52:44.840 --> 52:45.160
Yes.

52:45.760 --> 52:46.560
And Ms. Oakerson.

52:46.740 --> 52:46.920
Yep.

52:47.240 --> 52:48.260
Minutes are approved.

52:48.360 --> 52:49.280
Eight votes in favor.

52:49.760 --> 52:50.520
None opposed.

52:51.480 --> 52:53.080
Shall we take the consent agenda?

52:53.520 --> 52:54.400
You got it.

52:55.160 --> 53:00.800
Please note on 1002, the policy guide attached to the board this evening

53:00.800 --> 53:03.980
has a section in bold that starts with the words

53:03.980 --> 53:06.980
add for consideration colon and caps in bold.

53:07.180 --> 53:11.160
That should be removed from the proposed agenda, from the proposed policy.

53:12.660 --> 53:13.500
With that?

53:14.020 --> 53:14.200
Yep.

53:14.940 --> 53:17.560
Removing, what is the blank?

53:17.560 --> 53:22.740
We're moving 4001, as we do not have a name to fill in.

53:22.740 --> 53:25.600
With that, May I have a mover and a seconder for the consent agenda?

53:25.600 --> 53:26.600
Move it.

53:26.600 --> 53:27.600
Second.

53:27.600 --> 53:29.600
Moved by Mr. Thor, second by Dr. Levine.

53:29.600 --> 53:31.600
May I take that around?

53:31.600 --> 53:32.600
What?

53:32.600 --> 53:33.600
I'm sorry?

53:33.600 --> 53:35.600
Oh, I thought somebody said it.

53:35.600 --> 53:36.600
Yeah, go ahead.

53:36.600 --> 53:39.600
I thought Mr. Isola said something, but no?

53:39.600 --> 53:41.600
It's unimportant anyway.

53:41.600 --> 53:42.600
Okay.

53:42.600 --> 53:43.600
Mr. Thor?

53:43.600 --> 53:51.700
Yes, however, I vote no on N-3019 with the one item that I spoke to you privately about.

53:53.240 --> 53:54.080
Dr. Levine?

53:54.240 --> 53:54.540
Yes.

53:55.780 --> 53:56.740
Ms. Deliomini?

53:57.680 --> 54:04.380
Yes, but on N-3019, no on the one that I spoke to you about.
